i am 56 years old with a young family i have been fighting for the last 12 years to pay back debt
from a previous relationship ,they chase me because i am not hiding and unlike my ex wife who as she changed her name .
so i am the easier target .
i have been with my partner for 11 years and have a beautiful daughter aged 11 .
i was self employed since 2006 and was paying my way as i should in 2008 my work dried up with the recession
and started a downward spiral to where i am today .
i suffer from mental health problems and mobility problems but i was working not bringing in a fortune
but getting by,then as my health deteriorated i was relying more on my working tax credits to make up the short fall
then came a review they didn't just stop my working tax ,they stopped it, that was ok i understood, they say it was
stopped back to the previous April so i was lumped with 7000 pounds to repay on top of the debts i was still paying.
this as taken a toll on my health and relationship .and of course this affects my daughter.
i have my back to the wall and no one is in a position to help me .
any money i have is taken by court order from my bank ,when they first did this we had nothing ,we had to apply for a
hardship fund from my county council but your only allowed 3 in a year it was enough to buy some food and gas and electric
what a mess .
i need to go bankrupt and pretty soon ,but am unable to fund it ,then someone said try here i said NO as wanted to do it
myself some how but i know this not possible .

i am ashamed and feel i have let my family down but my health wont let me work ,
if anyone can show kindness and let me and my family have a fresh start , you would be forever in our
hearts .
