We get requests from lots of families that have children that are less fortunate in the form of a disability. These can be totally disabled, have learning disabilities or just a disability that stops these children and adults from being able to drive a kart. This has now inspired myself to try and raise funds to purchase this piece of equipment and give the youngsters a karting experience in the second seat with a instructor. This experience will be a way of them experiencing a racing element and also feel like they can be involved in the motorsport. I had tried numerous ways to fund this project but due to cuts in funding i am finding this very difficult which has made me more passionate about raising the funds.
