1 in 14 children have been either physically or emotionally abused.

Over 6000 were identified as needing protection from physical abuse last year – Child Protection Register.

Violent relationships in adolescence can have serious ramifications by putting the victims at higher risk for risky sexual behavior and further domestic violence.

With these statistics in mind how can we as humans hope to overcome such odds?

It is our aspirations that by telling the fictional story of one adult, by learning about his past abuse and the circumstances that lead to abuse of the ones he held dear, we can show the world the effects of what abuse has on people.

Abuse can come in all shapes and sizes. Only by forgiving those that hurt us can we truly be able to close that horrible event in our lives, and move on into a brighter tomorrow.

The filmmaker, cast and crew are all film production students who have chosen this theme as their final project for their last year of university.
It is a difficult challenge, however we feel that this message needs to be told.
We are looking for kind generous individuals who will be able to help with costs of locations, costumes and sending the final project off to festivals.
With your help we can tell this story in the best way possible so that it can reach the widest audience to spread the message and shed a light on emotional and physical abuse.

All money that is not used for the creation of this film will be donated to charities looking to stop abuse within families and relationships.
