*** FUNDRAISING NOW CLOSED - WE THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT IN SMASHING OUR GOAL ***

This May, a determined group of middle-aged men (50 ++) will be taking on a condensed four day physical challenge, cycling 300 miles along Scotland’s legendary North Coast 500 route.

Over four gruelling days, we’ll be tackling some of the UK’s most remote, scenic, and brutally steep roads. With over 16,000 feet of climbing ahead of us, this ride promises to test every ounce of our grit, fitness, and camaraderie.

While our team varies in cycling experience and fitness levels, we’re united by a shared commitment, not just to complete this incredible challenge, but to do it for a cause that is close to all of us.Recent events are driving us to raise funds for the Stroke Association (Deeside branch).

1.One of the riders - Gary - his father suffered a stroke in December 2024 which sadly led to a decline in his overall health and his eventual passing in January 2025.

2. A great friend of ours Graham McGowan suffered a devastating stroke in May 2022. He has since taken on the Chairmanship of the Deeside Stroke Group, managing its day-to-day operations while continuing his own recovery.

3. One of the riders - Graham - his Mum had a series of strokes at the end of 2024 which led to Vascular Dementia and her having to go into a care home.

Every five minutes, someone in the UK has a stroke. The Stroke Association is there to help every step of the way—supporting survivors and their families, funding life-changing research, and campaigning for better stroke care.

Your donation helps provide vital rehabilitation services, emotional support, and guidance for those rebuilding their lives after stroke. It also powers research into prevention and recovery, helping reduce the devastating impact of stroke for future generations.

Thank you for helping us make every mile count.

We're all really looking forward to the challenge, and being able to support a great cause
