£30raised of £250 target by 2 supporters

Weʼre raising £250 to raise cash for Olly's Fund & at the same time raise awareness about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) by taking part in a 200 mile bike ride

Tickhill, Doncaster, UK

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Olly Kibble, from Doncaster, was diagnosed with DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) just after his 2nd birthday in 2014. DMD is a cruel muscle wasting, life shortening terminal condition for which there is no cure. Children will be wheelchair bound & may also develop a heart condition, reducing life expectancy to the mid 20's.
Olly's fund has been set up to raise funds for DMD research & to give Olly the best opportunity to live life to the full & receive the best possible care & equipment.
Over the weekend of 15/16. September members of Tickhill Velo Cycling Club (TVC) will ride from Tickhill to Scarborough & back, a distance of 200 miles, to raise cash for the fund. As I am not available all weekend, I will ride part of the way & return home on 15th before riding out to meet the group on its return on the 16th. That way I will complete 200 miles myself.
Please give generously to raise funds for this worthy cause.

A promise is a promise! I hope Olly gets his "wheels".

I am a 59 year old, retired resident of Tickhill where I live with my wife. Some people, like Olly, will not live to that age &will spend their short lives fighting an incurable condition. Please give generously to raise funds for this very worthy cause. Thank you.
