In 2008 my ex girlfriend's daughter got pregnant at the age of 12. In 2009 she had a daughter, and life was a struggle, so naively I let my ex girlfriend be a named card holder on a credit card that I wasn't using, although I did specify that it was only for emergencies and was to be paid off every month. In 2011 I took out a loan for £18000 to cover living costs and bills when my ex girlfriend became ill from prescribed medication, which led to her having time off work, along with drug rehabilitation and cognitive behaviour therapy for panic attacks. In 2012 she dumped me, leaving me with approximately £32000 worth of debt all in my name, £13000 of it on the credit card.

I fully appreciate that I shouldn't have been so naive, and in hindsight I should have kept a close eye on our finances, but I trusted her and never expected to be in the position I'm in now. I've been struggling to pay off these debts, and I'd appreciate any donations to help me get straight again and get on with my life.
