Too many people (young and old) die by suicide, attempt to die by suicide, harm themselves or suffer from poor mental or emotional health.

We can do more to help.

A year ago, Activate Learning set up MindGreen to raise funds to support the mental health and wellbeing of our learners and staff.

On Sunday 8 September 2024, I will be running the Surrey Half Marathon along with a team of other people from Activate Learning.

I haven't run more than five miles since 5 May 1991 when I did the Berlin 25km run, so I'm sure this half marathon is going to hurt!

I have 98 days to prepare. For every mile I run in preparation I will donate £1 of my own money.
