Story

in just under five months time I will be participating once again in one of the toughest ultra marathons in the world. G2G ultra as I aim to be the first UK runner to finish this race three times. 175 gruelling miles self supported crossing terrain of sand, rocks and cactus (I hate the cactus) from the Grand Canyon to the Grand staircase in temperatures of 40+ degrees.

This time its different 2 years ago when I ran the last race I met a group of guys from the USA running for a cause close to their heart. JAR of HOPE was the brain child of James Raffone, he's son James' journey was born with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy an incurable disease. This muscle wasting disease mostly effects boys, leaving them unable to walk by the age of twelve and a life expectancy of their mid twenties.

It is my aim to raise £5000 pounds towards research.

Most of you know I have been doing these mad races since I was 18 and normally I compete for pleasure!! mad I know. But this time its different I want to raise as much as I can to help this very worth while cause. If everyone one of my FACEBOOK FRIENDS was to DONATE £2 we would reach our goal and beyond.

Thanks for your time.

Live every day as if it was your last xxx
