Hello, I’m running the Great North Run half marathon this year. I'm not a runner so it will be a challenge to train and finish the race! I want to raise money for the junior section of Blyth Cricket Club, Blyth Bobcats. The venture is a couple of years old and a few volunteers lead by club legend, Surj Singh, provide fun and educational sessions for an exponentially growing number of boys and girls of all ages from all backgrounds. Not only will this provide the future of cricketers at Blyth CC, it is giving kids the life lessons that I believe only sport can.
