There is a critical shortage of traditional construction skills specifically in the South East Region of the UK. Workloads have risen yet skills have declined, there has been a 54% decrease of specific construction trades. 10% of the South East workforce is made up of migrant workers of which 61% are EU workers, This will have a massive impact post Brexit! These roles will need to be filled! I have over 30 years experience in multi-trades within the construction Industry. Im looking for investment to open up a designated construction skills centre to teach our local community, young and old a variety of construction skills that they can use to whatever level they choose, be it for their own benefit or to serve the community.
