Tragically in the early hours of 17th June 2019, Newcastle Speedway lost a great friend. Gary Beaty was known by all and instantly put a smile on everyone's face he came in to contact with. He was such a happy man and even after having his life changing operation, that left him wheelchair bound, that never changed.
To wake up to the find out the news that he so very sadly passed is not only a shock but also heart wrenching.
Everyone here at Newcastle Speedway have his fiance, Mandy and the rest of Gary's family in their thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
As most of you know, Gary and Mandy were due to get married in August this year, and we can only but imagine the heartache Mandy is experiencing right now.
The speedway will not be the same place without him there and here at the Supporters Group we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate his life and also say thankyou for the work he did at the speedway before his operation.
Any contributions towards Gary's family at this very difficult time will be greatly appreciated and here at he Supporters Group, we are confident the fans of the diamonds and friends of Gary will give as generously as possible.
