Story

Dear colleagues and friends

I write to make this appeal with a heavy heart and deep sorrow for the victims of the recent mudslide in Freetown. As you may have seen in the news once again this country has been hit by another disaster. Having endured a decade of the most brutal civil war in recent times followed by the Ebola virus outbreak, and now the people of Freetown have once again been struck with the worst flooding and mudslide in its history.
Sierra Leone is my country of birth so as an immigrant who emigrated to Britain during the brutal civil war from this country I felt compel to stand in solidarity with my country and raise fund to help assist the victims of the recent flooding disaster.

As at today we don’t know how many victims unidentified / dismembered bodies but Statistical update from authorities in sierra Leone states the number is estimated to be over 1000 deaths and displaced Victims .

I am therefore appealing for your support both financially and in kind to support the victims . Please him me in my campaign with whatever little or big your donations , it will be much appreciated.

please note this is a second round appeal as my first round fall short of my target but still appreciate those who made donations and have decided to extend campaign to allow more time for friends and colleagues to donate

I thank you for your kind response to my call to help humanity.

Your Comrade and work colleague
