We are opening a new community based Sewing Machine Museum in Street Somerset, Gates Museum. The museum is built around a collection of over 300 antique sewing machines. Our prime exhibit will be a 'goliath' of a sewing machine a Victorian Standard 'Goodyear' Welting Sewing Machine. We have been undertaking a complete restoration of this incredible machine over the past 5 years. We are now ready to undertake the final stage of restoration (subject to available funding).
