Story
We are opening a new community based Sewing Machine Museum in Street Somerset, Gates Museum. The museum is built around a collection of over 300 antique sewing machines. Our prime exhibit will be a 'goliath' of a sewing machine a Victorian Standard 'Goodyear' Welting Sewing Machine. We have been undertaking a complete restoration of this incredible machine over the past 5 years. We are now ready to undertake the final stage of restoration (subject to available funding).
This donation page has been created to raise the funds needed to complete the restoration. Any donations are gladly welcomed and gratefully received.
