Gather is a community organisation for people affected by sexual violence, sexual abuse and sexual assault. A place to connect, raise awareness and break down the isolation of shame and secrecy through accessible peer support. We facilitate peer support groups and are currently based in Penryn, Cornwall.

Gather exists to help survivors of sexual trauma build lasting support systems, both through our online community and in person. Allowing people to tell their stories, and share both their struggles and their successes. Together we aim to creates safe spaces that enable people to process their experiences, by both listening and being heard, whilst collectively navigating life after sexual trauma.

Gather is currently funded solely by donations and works to provide a bespoke service at a minimal cost. It is important to us that our services are accessible and so all of our support groups are free to attend. This means that we are reliant on the generosity of those who are able to give. Every penny or pound helps us to support survivors of sexual trauma and grow our organisation to reach and connect more people.

We are currently accepting donations to help us with our start up costs, which include securing a safe space in which we will hold our support groups and marketing our service to we can reach those who need it most!
