I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which is a muscle wasting disease and I haven't been able to walk since age 8. My wheelchair is part of me, it allows me to be independent, and without it I'd be stuck in bed. I love going for walks with my dog and using my computer.

My current wheelchair keeps breaking down so I need a new one. Problem is they're so expensive. A basic one is £8,500 - you can get a new car for less!That's not including the specialist controls and seat that I need. As I've got weaker I struggle to move my hands and I have to control my wheelchair with my thumb. Therefore I'm also trying to raise funds to get a controller with blue tooth so that I can still use my computer. Otherwise it's one less thing I can do in my already limited range of activities. So please help me raise the funds I need to keep living life. Thank you.
