Story

Hi, my name is Gavin and 20 years ago, I was involved in a near fatal road traffic accident in Greece. Whilst out there, I was in a coma for 1 month before my care was transferred back home. The picture above was taken towards the end of my 6 month stay in The Haywood Hospital in Burslem. For the weeks and months before this, I was a very different person. I was angry, confused and had lost the will to continue. I'm 6'1, and had dropped down to 7 stone because I refused to eat. I just didn't care anymore. They made me care. With all the love and support I could've wished for. It was the darkest time of my life, and they made it bright again.

I would like to raise as much money as possible for NHS staff. Who continue to struggle in the fight against Coronavirus. During this pandemic, they are pushing themselves to the limit on a daily basis. So my aim, is push myself 100 miles in my wheelchair between July 1st, and July 31st. Please give generously for this very important cause.
