Story

I am the named doctor for child protection and the lead for paediatric emergency medicine at the busiest paediatric A&E in London. Sadly we often have children brought to us who need to go into emergency foster care for many reasons - sometimes because of abuse, neglect or that their parent is medically or mentally ill. I want to give these kids a gift of a back pack filled with essentials such as a pair of pyjamas, clean pants and socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, as well as a cuddly toy and activity book to make them feel less scared and vulnerable and to show them how much my department cares about them. Can you help me - contact me if your company could sponsor it or just donate a few pounds if you can spare it.
