Many of you will remember Debs one of our sisters who worked on ITU with us until she had the devastating diagnosis of oesteosarcoma. . Debs undewent Surgery in Birmingham and after months of rehabilitation returned home , she got married and returned to work, although unable to work in ITU Debs was redeployed to ICC , to be non patient facing ,during Covid . Unfortunately the sarcoma returned and Deb had to undergo a Hind Quarter Amputation , giving her to the chance to live cancer free ... her intention is to return to work as soon as she can , in order to help her fullfill this ambition she will need a specialist wheelchair . I know theres many of you that would love to help her adjust to her new situation , so ive set up this page as it would be great to raise the necessary funds to buy the wheelchsir for her ...Debs is the most lovely , positive and inspirational woman and it wiuld be wonderful if WE can make a real difference for her .
