I've been wanting to do something different this year to remember my late husband Rob who passed away 3 years ago on October 20th.

It just happened that I have a return Eurotunnel crossing to use before the end of October and rather than it going to waste, Matt and I decided to drive to Calais with food supplies to help the thousands of refugees currently living there.

We've driven so many times through Calais and see refugees desperate to get onboard lorries and regardless of your views on the whole situation, these refugees are people and should be able to eat properly. Winter is approaching fast and no doubt the situation will worsen.

We are asking for your kind generosity to donate however small or big so we can buy food and deliver it to the refugee camp in Calais.

The transport is fully covered by us as we'll use my dad-mobile estate car (the same car that has transported tons of Rob's belonging in the past back and forth between France and UK) and the crossing is fully paid already.
