Gaza we need your help to rescue and maintain a well and healthy life

for those loving helpless animals

We are a team of volunteers veterinary, doctors and nurses located in the Gaza Strip area of Palestine.

Our aim is to build a well designed and purpose built shelter in Gaza which will be a safe home for over 400 dogs. We also have a purpose built cat shelter housing over 40 former street cats rescued by locals or volunteers, Our work will now extended to rehabilitating former working donkeys in a peaceful and caring environment.

The dogs will be fed daily a rice, bread, meat, carrots and potatoes, (normal dog food brands that you could buy in the west are often hard to come into Gaza and cost too much) and animals are exercised in apurpose built dog runs.

Our local staff take great personal pride in the welfare of all our animals and some even now have adopted dogs of their own!

Daily health checks are carried out by our highly qualified Gaza veterinarians and any necessary treatment is carried out immediately as required. Which again unfortunately does come with a cost.

Our aim is to re-home all of the dogs that end up in our shelter; firstly to loving homes in Gaza where we have had great success, or for those who have already been fostered or cared for by ex-pats living in and around Gaza City, we aim to re home them in the west.

Your donation will help ensure that we can feed all of our animals as well as keep them warm and safe, pay our local staff wages (typically they earn just $150 a month for extremely long hours in very harsh conditions), fund the upkeep of the shelter and facilities and make sure we have the ability to provide any medical care that our animals may need.
