7 SESMA Students selected

for Great Britain
SESMA martial arts have recently had 7 of its members picked to represent Great Britain at the 13th World Martial Arts Games in Florida America.
Over the years since the lockdown, SESMA students have been training hard in the background ready for when the martial art competitions restarted in 2021, and did they take the medals home.
Winning and placing at local and national tournaments, taking the other competition judges & organisers by surprise on how focused, precise and strong a team SESMA have.
All this hard work was awarded when 7 of the SESMA team qualified for Great Britain selections mid-2022. After a couple of GB squad sessions, the Head Director of the selection committee was so impressed with the quality of the sesma students, that they invited SESMA competition coach Will Moy 3rdDan to be part of the Great Britain coaching team.
The 7 students (inc Will Moy) pictured were recently given confirmation of their representation of Team GB and are over the moon, and so are their proud parents.
Unfortunately there is lack of funding and the selected team members have to pay for their own flights and accommodation to represent Great Britain and compete at the World Games Martial art Games.
The SESMA instructors are so proud of them all and their continuous hard work to improve and put their skills to the test on a world arena.
