I've raised £5000 to refurbish our auditorium incl. replacement seating, floor and improved lighting. Our aim is to provide a theatre fit for the 21st century.

Story

Guide Bridge Theatre is a not-for-profit community theatre, originally formed in 1940 and run entirely by volunteers. As much as we love our old blue seating, it’s reached the end of its useful life and it’s time to swap it out to something more modern and more comfortable. We were all saddened by the news that Oldham Coliseum would close for good in March, but this presented GBT with a fantastic opportunity to accelerate our plans for the auditorium refresh and we are delighted to announce that we were able to remove enough seating from the coliseum to replace our 111 seats. They are now in storage whilst we raise the funds needed to carry out the project.
