Georgie Campbell Memorial Hockey Match

About the Event:
A special hockey match between a team of 'old girls' (and a few fresh legs) and the current Cranbrook School Girls 1st XI, aimed at raising money for the Georgie Campbell Foundation (GCF).
Georgie was a talented hockey player and was the Cranbrook School Girls 1st XI Captain for the 2005/2006 season. She then went on to play 1st XI hockey at the Nottingham Tent University.
In Memory of Georgie Campbell:
Georgie Campbell, my wonderful friend, who tragically passed away while competing at the Bicton Horse Trials in Devon in May 2024. Known for her infectious smile, boundless energy, and authentic personality, Georgie touched many lives.
The Georgie Campbell Foundation (GCF):
Launched in Georgie’s memory, the GCF supports up-and-coming event riders by providing access to mentorship and bursary support to help them grow and maintain their careers and seeks to improve safety in the sport of Eventing, The foundation honors Georgie’s legacy by empowering those who might not otherwise have access to such opportunities.
Purpose of the Event:
The match will raise funds for GCF, continuing Georgie's mission to foster growth and positivity within the sport of eventing. Through this foundation, Georgie’s passion and drive will support the next generation of riders.
