Story
Hi! We are a Vex IQ Robotics Team, Gear Squad. Our team consists of 5 team members, Dillan Shah (Leader and Builder of the robot), Varun Vijaykumar (Programmer of the robot), Vihaan Jain (STEM Researcher), Shilacshan Lingakumar (Robotics Designer) and Alex Woodcock (Builder of the robot). We are all Year 9 pupils at Queen Elizabeth's School for Boys in Barnet. This is our second year competing in the VEX IQ Program (http://www.vexrobotics.com/vexiq) and are in due course to participate in Regional, and possibly National and International stages of this competition. Our hard work last year, meant that we were selected to represent the United Kingdom at the VEX IQ World Championships and won a total of 5 Regional Awards and 5 National Awards including the Excellence Award, the highest accolade in the VEX IQ Program. Thus we are eager to replicate and better this success this year. However, this success does not come without its costs. The VEX IQ components are quite dear and hence we would really appreciate it if you could help us on our journey through this competition by donating. We promise to make every penny of every donation count through our hard work and commitment to this project. For more information, please visit our website (https://gearsquadvexiq.wixsite.com/gearsquadvexiq) or contact us via email (gear.squad.vexiq@gmail.com).
Thanking you in advance,
Team Gear Squad
