I've raised £1000 to help improve security at the Post Office in Geddington by setting up a good CCTV and alarm system throughout the property

After a speight of attempted break-ins over the years (including one last week), it is a good time to rally the troops and make use of our community spirit, by raising funds in order to improve security at the Post Office in Geddington.
Pat is a much loved member of the village and has had to deal with a lot in recent years and a small donation would go a long way towards giving hime some peace of mind that his business and home is a more secure place to work and live.
With the money raised we hope to fund the fitting of a brand new and decent standard CCTV recording on site and an equally decent alarm system throughout the building (including the large glass window at the front) and also pay any necessary funds towards the fitting of a new hlass window to replace the currently smashed one.
We have no real financial target as of right now. As soon as I get a firm idea of just how much all of this will cost, I will update this page with a definitive financial goal, but it is a good idea to get the ball rolling as soon as possible, whilst the issue is at the forefront of eveybody's mind. Just a small donation of a couple of pounds will go a long way anf re-affirm the great community spirit we already have in place in the village of Geddington.
