I've raised £1500 to gemequestrian kids fundraising

.At GemEquestrian we are a non profit riding school for children from all walks of life. We have regular clients who benefit from learning to ride and generally be around the ponies without the financial commitment of having their own pony. We also work closely with local schools and communities doing charity events and galas.we have lchildrets of children, including those with learning difficulties and disabilities benefit from being around the horses, ponies have a calming effect on the children and they learn a variety of new skills. Horses can help improve physical fitness and wellbeing, it can help children build social skillslcommunicating with other children and the instructors, let alone learning about the way horses communicate. Horses can help teach children responsibility and confidence as well. The money we do take in goes directly to feeding the horses, providing them with adequate rugs, lotions and potions , covers our insurance etc there are no funds for repairs. The roof on our stables is in need of being replaced to due corrosion as well as general wear and tear.
We are very lucky to have some amazing clients who have decided to do some fundraising to help us get our target, some participated in a small show in August which allowed us to raise £250, some others are planning a sponsored walk along the forth road bridge in September.
Our aim is to buy the materials and have the roof done for winter setting in so the horses and sponsors have somewhere safe, warm and dry to shelter from our Scottish winter. Anything and everything is appreciated, £1 will buy some nails or glue and £100 will buy some felt or wood.
we are trying to raise as much as we can to buy the materials and have the roof hopefully done for winter setting in so we can have the kids learning in a dry warm stable area.
