I've raised £1000 to Supporting the incredible work at DDH-UK

Providing Families with Buddy Bags
Hi, my name is Gemma, I'm 28 years old and I have created this Just Giving page to support the work at DDH-UK. This charity has been supporting thousands of individuals and families across the globe by providing them and I with essential advice and support with those living with Hip Dysplasia.
A lot of my friends and family know how determined I am when I said I wanted to take part in this year's Wirral Coastal Walk. However, I wont be walking the full 15 miles but I shall be walking the last 5 miles in the hope of sending a message out there by saying "Anyone with a disability physical or not can achieve anything they set their mind too" On Sunday 24th June 2018 a group of my friends and I are walking this year's 15 Mile Wirral Coastal Walk to raise awareness of Hip Dysplasia and to raise as much money as possible to provide parents with a buddy bag for their children, as they go into hospital for further Hip Dysplasia Surgery. These bags will contain essential items such as:
*Spare PJ's,
*Wipes
*Colouring Books
*Crayons
*A bag of chocolate buttons.
The most important essential is providing parents with a booklet full of information on what to expect if their child goes into a Spica Cast.
We hope by providing these families with a buddy bag they feel reassured knowing they have the DDH-UK Charity to turn to for any further support.
If you would like to contribute by making this new project a success then please give what you can, every penny helps.
Thank you so much for your support.
Love Gemma xxx
