Story
My nephew Steve Elmes was first diagnosed with Huntingtons Disease (HD) at the age of 32, although he was displaying symptoms way before this. HD is a cruel neurological, progressive condition. It has a physical, cognitive and behavioural effect on sufferers.
Steve is happy, charming and incredibly cheeky. He has shown great courage battling his condition and is an inspiration to everyone who knows him.
Steve lives at home supported by his care team. As he is now in the advanced stages of HD he needs specialist equipment to help him remain safe and comfortable.
Please kindly donate as little or as much as you can to help us buy Steve the specialist equipment he needs.
