Story

I have been asked if I could help and set up this page to help raise funds that will help to fulfil a dying girls last wish. Is a headstone too much to ask for?

As some will know Lindsey was diagnosed with cancer in 2017, she has given the fight of her life however that fight is coming to an end. Lindsey’s organs unfortunately can no longer sustain the fight, her kidney function is at an all time low. Lindsey was taken into hospital on Friday 22nd May 2020, and this comes as a shock to all and so suddenly that she and the family have been told she is at the end of her battle, her kidney can not support her body. Doctors as of yesterday estimate Lindsey has a week left to live.

Even now as Lindsey is staring death in the face Lindsey’s only concern is for Claire and the girls, Lindsey is currently discussing her funeral wishes with her family and her last wish is for a headstone so that Claire, and the girls especially have a place to visit and remember her.

During Lindsey’s illness Claire has been unable to work as she has been Lindsey’s full time care giver now as a result of this money is extremely sparse, they are now facing losing Lindsey at the young age of 35 the added stress of paying for funeral and headstone is laying heavy on the shoulders of their family.

I am asking although times are extremely hard and money is tight during the current pandemic for donations anything at all every pound and penny donated will help to give a dying girl her last wish.

With thanks for any donations from Lindsey and her family at this devastating time.
