Story

Arlo was born at just 25 weeks, weighing 940 grams, and faced numerous life-threatening challenges in his early days, including sepsis, E.coli-meningitis, hydrocephalus, and a large cerebellar haemorrhage. Despite these hurdles, Arlo's resilience shone through, and he was able to go home after 98 days in the NICU.

Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy in 2023, Arlo's family has been tirelessly working to give him the best start in life. Intensive physiotherapy, particularly Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), has been transformative. After a two-week intensive in the US, Arlo went from struggling with head control to sitting up on his own and attempting to stand with assistance.

Now, Arlo is preparing for another intensive therapy session in London, which promises even more progress. However, the costs are substantial: £7,500 per intensive block, £4,500 annually for weekly physio, and ongoing expenses for specialist equipment.

Just getting Arlo to school age will cost over £100,000 in treatment and equipment, before his family even look at everyday expenses!

Arlo's journey is a testament to his strength and the unwavering support of his family. With your help, we can continue to provide the therapy and equipment he needs to achieve his full potential. Every donation makes a difference in Arlo's life. 💙

Please consider supporting Arlo's journey and helping him reach new milestones. Thank you!
