Rich and I are not runners by any means, as anyone who knows us will tell you! We signed up for the 10k in a fit of madness after being inspired by last year's event. Training started a few weeks ago, and I think we might actually make it to the finish line... just! Fingers crossed...

We've decided to run in support of Chester Park Infant School, where our youngest daughter spends her time. As a governor, I've seen first hand the impact the education cuts are having on the budget, and how the hardworking team of staff stretch such limited funds to provide the best possible education for our children. But the funds can only go so far, and this is becoming increasingly difficult to achieve.

Having to raise money for our children's education is crazy, but it's where we're at in this country.

So if you can, support us with a few quid, and we'll try to make the distance!
