Story
This interactive sound sculpture was on exhibition in Wolverhampton Art Gallery for three years. Its popular with both children and adults. Similar work has been commissioned by a special school in Wolverhampton, where it remains today.
The white circular surround no longer exists (please see image). However, the one thousand suspended rods are secured within a 3 metre diameter aluminium plate circular form, this in turn with only slight modification could be suspended independently, or otherwise the work could be supported by use os a truss. My intension is to further develop this work in order to create mobility. This would allow for the work to go on tour. Venues might include festivals, universities, mainstream and special schools.
