Story

On 27 December 2022 George‘s heart stopped beating and we lost our little boy. He was 14.

George loved his animals and wanted a career in animal welfare conservation. His ever-growing knowledge of animals was encyclopaedic and he loved sharing this knowlege with others so they could enjoy the wonders of the natural world as well. This was going to start in September 2023 when he chose his options for KS4 which would have included Sciences and Land-based Studies.

We would like anyone who wants to remember George to support the building of George’s Farm at Alderman Knight School. This farm will provide a smallholding for all of George’s friends to learn how to work with and look after animals, while remembering George. Alderman Knight School is an amazing establishment in Tewkesbury which nurtures the individual talents of their students, enabling them to become the best they can be.

We also wish to support a Borneo Bay Cat charity to purchase a camera trap so they can learn more about this elusive animal to support the cats’ survival. This mysterious cat was one of George’s favourites, and he dreamed of helping with research when he grew up.

Thank you from Caroline and James Montgomery
