I've raised £1000 to support the work of the charity "Belarusian Victims of Chernobyl"

On 10th November I will be running the New Forest Half Marathon in order to raise money for the charity 'Belarusian Victims of Chernobyl."
I aim to do my run in under 1 hour 40 minutes, which will be a challenge, but with the right training, it should be achievable.
The Belarusian Victims of Chernobyl charity was set up in South Wiltshire UK in 2001 to fund projects providing humanitarian and medical aid to support sick and vulnerable children in the Republic of Belarus affected by the long term impact of the 1986 Chernobyl disaster.
In July 2019, I was privileged to travel to Belarus with a group from school for 17 days to volunteer at Nadeshda Recreational and Health Centre. During this time, I was involved in teaching English and playing games with children of varying age groups. The trip was one of the best of my life and it was incredibly rewarding to see how much the kids enjoyed their time at the camp. I am hoping to be able to volunteer again in the future, but in the meantime would like to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause.
The money given to the charity goes towards providing general aid and financial assistance. The aid has included clothes, medical items, toiletries, school equipment, computers, sports equipment, garden tools, seeds and bicycles; in fact almost anything.
This charity means a lot to me and I would really appreciate any donation, however small, you feel able to make.
Thank you for all your help
