Weʼre raising £2,000 to support the Shakespeare Hospice and pay for squash coaching.

My goal is to play 50 consecutive squash matches against different opponents in a crowdfunding event taking place on Saturday 25th February 2017.
The aim is to raise money for the Shakespeare Hospice and help pay for my squash training. Half of the funds raised will go to the Shakespeare Hospice charity who provide care for people living in our community with a life limiting illness and the remaining money raised will go toward helping me train for squash.
Over the next 6 months I will be training as a full time squash player and coach to improve my technical abilities and earn money by coaching some of the younger juniors at my club Stratford on Avon (I currently hold a Level 2 certificate in Coaching squash and Racquetball (QCF). I am aspiring to reach the top 10 for the boys under 19's category before my 19th birthday on 20th December. This would then provide me with the opportunity to progress on to the professional adult PSA World squash tour. My current ranking is in the top 50 so I am in a strong position to improve and push towards the top 10 (please follow link to rankings https://www.englandsquash.com/competitions-and-events/junior/rankings ).
The event will be taking place at Stratford squash club on Saturday 25th Febuary 2017, I will play members of the squash leagues, some of the juniors and anyone who is interested in playing some squash!
I have agreed with the committee to market the event on the website as well as displaying posters throughout the club. The local newspaper (Stratford Herald) will provide coverage during the weekend and also help promote the set date and times when I am attempting the record to hopefully increase the number of spectators.
Stratford squash club (please follow link http://www.stratfordsquashclub.co.uk/) is my home club where I have played since I was 7. The club has three well-maintained squash courts and an pool of talented juniors and adult players who are always happy to see new faces at the club.
