👋 Update... The community has been busy helping/ building a steel cabin for George, meaning he is warm & dry ready for winter, we have a woodburner going in soon! Today we helped him clear away some of the rubbish that was still there from the day he lost everything. It’s all taken longer then we hoped but it’s starting to look much better! He will continue to build his home and with the generous donations that you so kindly gave him. Quite simply without them we don’t know what would have happened to him! Thanks again for your support! :)

George is still in a tent on the towpath unfortunately but he is in high spirits! He has ordered steel and is in the first stages of getting his boat cabin built. He is getting help sourcing boat essentials such as bilge pumps and batteries etc, and we have put plans in place for a wood-burner too. We really need the rain to hold off for long enough to get the steel welded, as that can't be done in the rain. Ideally this would be done in a dry-dock but unfortunately- it is too expensive! Hopefully, the next update will be a happy one!

Hello everybody thank-you SO much for all your support for George. *** He has kindly requested that he feels he has enough money and require any more. *** Thank you so very much for caring. He is in a very confused state and needs to be left alone with people who know him at the moment. Laura
