Story
George was born with Microtia and hearing problems. He needs surgery to make his 'little' ear look like his other ear. In November 2013 he had his first surgery at the Royal Free Hospital London, the small ear was removed and the framework for the new ear was put in; it's amazing. However, 300 miles for a pre-op appointment, staying for 4 nights in London for the surgery and then weekly clinic appointments is expensive! Frankly, we just don't know how we are going to do it this December.

Thank you all for your support! As you can see, George is the proud owner of a brand new ear. The stitches came out this week and it is looking awesome. The swelling goes down a little each day and the ear gets a little more defined. We had 4 trips to London in 4 weeks, about 2400 miles. 5 nights in hotels and 1 more appointment scheduled for about 4 weeks time. To date, we have spent over £1,800. We are so grateful for your help, you've made a huge difference to us and especially George. Thanks again. David, Mandy and George
