Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
George and his brother Fred came to me from a guinea pig rescue in Norwich. They were part of a rescue from an overrun household with over 140 guinea pigs, all needing homes. Fred and George were born in the rescue.
It's a story that happens over and over again. The rescues up and down the country are overflowing. The animals need food, care and vets. Hay from £3, vets from £40. Care comes from the bottom of our hearts.
George died ten years ago. On his anniversary, I'm aiming to celebrate his life and achievements with a fundraiser - I'll be matching the total given up to £50. The three rescues I'm supporting have supported me, and I'm very grateful to them. So are Fred, George, Victor, Hugo, Humphrey, Hector, Colman, Kevin, Dylan, Dougall, Oscar, Midge, Percy, Roscoe, Neville, Biggles, Bertie, Ludo and Locksley.
Come and see us at George's Guinea Pig World, where Roscoe and Biggles continue George's good work.
You can enter a raffle there, with a chance to win a Notebook with guinea pig pictures and George's wise sayings in it (closes 13th June 2021).
PS Justgiving deduct processing fees of 2.9%+25p before I receive your money. So £3 is £2.66, £25 is £24. I didn't know that :)

Max & Gus came from Wheek & Squeak and they thank all those who work so hard to look after them and their wider piggie family! 💕
