Story
My hockey team and I are running 10km from Dundee to Fife and back again over the Tay Road Bridge to raise money for the Goedgedacht trust in South Africa and to fund our new hockey kit. The Goedgedacht Trust's aim is to develop a 'creative, effective, sustainable and replicable model for community development in rural areas, and offers children and youths safe spaces and opportunities to break out of the cycle of poverty that has trapped their families in South Africa for generations.' We are hoping to raise at least £200 each for this charity.
On their tour they will be visiting the Goedgedacht Trust and learning more about what they do and how we can help - both on the tour and back home in Scotland. The money we raise will be used to buy sports equipment and essentials for the children. I would be extremely grateful if you would like to donate to this very worthwhile cause.
