My name is Georgia and I am 17 years old. I have recently enrolled on a Camps International expedition to Cambodia which will take place in the summer of 2018. For 4 weeks I will be helping to build community housing and a school for impoverished communities as well as the conservation of the rainforest and wildlife in the area.

In Cambodia 1/3 of the population live below the poverty line on only a dollar a day and over 50% of children do not have a decent standard of education. During our time there we have the amazing opportunity to teach the children English and improve the conditions of the school.

Over the next few months I'll be doing fundraising activities to raise the money for the cost of the trip. I'm going to be doing: plant sales at local fayres, cake sales, babysitting, car washing , odd jobs and much more.
