Story
Recently I was lucky enough to be part of volunteering project in the rural village of Raniswara in the Gorkha district of Nepal. The project I worked on was livelihoods with Raleigh international, along with the rest of team we managed to carry out a variety of educational sessions with the whole community as well as building 24 polytunnels which will help our community grow there crops all year round. During my 3 months away I spent time with an amazing community, who made all of us feel so at home. One of the highlights was a session with we ran with at primary school, all of the children were so excited for us to be there but the one thing I did notice was the lack of books and stationary the school had. So as my way of giving back I wanted to start a small fundraising campaign to buy stationary for the primary school to give back in small way.
So if you could even donate £1 it would make a small difference in for an amazing community.
