    Story

    Hello!

I've created this page in order to help raise funds to go towards my fees at drama school. I have been offered a place on the two year diploma in professional acting at Drama Studio in London. The course is at least £10,000 per year and unfortunately I do not get any student funding for this course so that is why I need your help!

Cliche as this is - and I suppose all actors say this - but performing and theatre has always been a huge part of my life. It all started off from the age of 3 when I started dance classes. From there I guess I just loved performing. I didn't get into acting until I was at school when I wanted to play Alice in the school's production of Alice in Wonderland, but was cast as an ace of spades card instead, but 8 year old me was still living my best life on that stage. From there I did drama GCSE, A Levels and then went on to study a BA Honours degree in Drama and Performance at the University of Portsmouth.

My degree taught me a lot about the industry, especially the creative side of it including knowing how to create your own theatre company, script writing, creating your own work (which included creating a show in my second year where we all decided to perform as Barbie dolls) and of course that dreaded dissertation.

Alongside my degree, I started getting into choreography. I learnt a lot of choreography in A Level Dance, but at university, I was given the opportunity to choreograph two different musicals (both of which were performed at local theatres to the public) and my final production in my third year with my theatre company at the time.

This past year I have been on a full time foundation course at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London, which I have been commuting from home in Southampton to get to London while working alongside the course to fund it as well as having help from my parents which I am most grateful for.

This course at Drama Studio means a lot to me and I have worked so hard and dealt with a lot of rejections to get here. I will (finally) be moving up to London and working as much as I can during the holidays and the weekends to save up as much as I can not only towards the course fees, but to make sure I can afford food and rent!

I do have the most incredible family who have supported me for years through this choice of career I'm making. But every penny counts and I will be forever grateful for anyone who is willing to donate. Even if it is a penny.

Love you forever and have a nice day!
