Story

I am currently working with a group of participants as a leader for an NCS project. NCS involves young adults volunteering 4 weeks to the public, in the last 2 weeks of their project my team of volunteers have to pick charity/charities to help. The two charities we have picked are Thurrock Mencap and the Homeless.

I currently work very closely to Thurrock Mencap football team, I coach them every Monday night in Basildon voluntary. The team is filled up with amazing characters who live life to the full that sadly suffer from a range of disabilities. Its always a massive pleasure for me to coach these young amazing adults and help make a change to their life. Unfortunately they don't get that much funding and suffer with a range of equipment. Our mission is to raise money for them to be able to buy a new training kit.

Our second charity we will be working very close with is the Homeless. We have decided as a group to design our own small package boxes to give to the homeless that will be filled with snacks, toiletries, water and much more.

It will mean the world to me and my team of amazing young adults if you could please donate anything. Every single penny counts.
