I've raised £4000 to provide life changing conservation and humanitarian voluntary work in Borneo

Hello, my name is Georgia. I am 15 and hoping to raise money through a variety of activities to fund a 4 week volunteer expedition to Borneo with Camps International. I will be engaged in life changing volunteer work, living among the local residents; helping communities improve their quality of life and supporting wildlife conservation through reforestation and conservation projects.
On average, the equivalent of 5 football pitches of forest are cut down everyday destroying the habitats of endangered species such as Orangutans and Sun bears.
Some of the activities I will be involved in are;
- Helping to build homes and schools for the people of Borneo and teaching basic English to school children
- Volunteering in Sepilok Orangutan Orphanage where I will be working to assist the process of nursing the animals back to health.
- I will help clear up waste along the beaches removing harmful rubbish that affects the sea life.
- I will take an active role in planting trees to support forest regrowth.
Additionally, 36% of ALL money raised will go directly to the communities in Borneo supporting employment, education and improved living conditions.
I hope you find generosity from hearing this amazing volunteering opportunity I have been given and are able to donate, no amount is too little, and all goes a long way. All proceeds made will directly fund this expedition.
I am currently working every weekend and ALL of my earnings are going directly towards the project. I am also currently undertaking many other fund raising events including: bake sales, creation and sale of branded products, car washes, market stalls and a sponsored 10k run/walk. During the week I volunteer at my local charity shop where I hope to raise awareness of this cause and gain experience. I will regularly update this profile to keep readers informed on my progress.
