I am running/crawling my way through the Cardiff Half Marathon this year with the hope of raising money for Y Bwythyn Newydd. This is a purpose built unit at the Princess of Wales hospital which provides individuals with cancer and their relatives with care and support in a warm and friendly environment.
Y Bwythyn Newydd's aim is "through our respect for an individual's needs we aim to maximise quality of life, preserve dignity and provide choice enabling patients family and carers to remain in control of their lives".
