York Down Syndrome Support Group are a parent led support group based in York. Their overall aim is to create and develop the conditions which will enable their children with Down syndrome to attain their full potential. They aim to support all those involved in the lives of our children including family members and professionals.
The Brunswick Organic Nursery is a day centre that provides those with learning disabilities, learning difficulties and autism, with a safe space to learn new skills and socialise. The depend completely on donations to fund the maintenance of the centre and materials for the activities. They learn skills such as cooking, planting, maintenance of the crop land and crafts.
