Macy is a 10 year old little girl and has been suffering from sezuires since she was 2. We have never been able to control them. But recently they have become more violent and as she has been recently diagnosed with very bad osteoporosis she is breaking her bones during sezuires. Currently she has 2 broken femurs in which she has already rebroken one of them and broken her back in 3 places. She is in incredible pain, heavily sedated and doesn't deserve to live like this. Every time Macy has sezuires now she is breaking bones and has very little quality of life. As her father and carer my heart is absolutely broken and I am devastated. Macy's 2 joys in life are eating and walking. When doctors say she probably won't ever walk again it tears me apart. She is so innocent and beautiful and my best friend. I simply couldn't love her anymore than I do and I feel so helpless as her daddy watching her go through this. I have to do everything I can to help her and that's why I have set up this appeal. There are therapies and tests that I want to try for Macy that are not available on the NHS. I have to try everything possible and I need funds to do that. There are other families around the world that these therapies and tests have helped so I have to try. I want to have functional tests done so that we can determine a root cause of Macys sezuires. I also want to buy a red light therapy machine as it has helped many others and I want to fund Macys medicinal cannabis therapy privately as she is not eligible under the NHS. Even after everything she has been through. If this therapy works she would be in it for life and would be very costly to maintain. We have battled for years for medicinal cannabis but without success. We are at a point where we need help as we are desperate to ease our daughters pain and suffering but unfortunately we have exhausted all available resources without this fund.
