Story
Baby Noah Diffin was born on 29th July 2021 at Craigavon Area Hospital. Noah was born 16 weeks early at just 24 weeks weighing only 1lb 12oz. Noah was immediately transferred to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Craigavon hospital where he spent a total of 92 days fighting so hard to survive and getting strong enough to come home to us. The care, attention and love Noah and ourselves received from the team in the Neonatal unit was simply amazing. While Noah done all the hard work in coming through any hurdles he encountered along the way, we believe that the specialist care he received from the consultants, doctors and nurses especially in the initial first weeks is what saved his life. He is now an amazing, happy, bubbly, content little boy who has no long term medical issues and is meeting all his milestones for his corrected age. We will always be eternally grateful to the team in the Neonatal unit in Craigavon for everything they done for us as a family.
I, Geri, Noah’s mummy, together with my sister, Sam, Noah’s auntie will be taking part in an abseil of the Europa Hotel in Belfast on 26th June 2022. We are aiming to raise as much funding as possible to give back to the Neonatal Unit to help purchase vital equipment and supplies they so desperately need and deserve in order to help not only the team but also the other little warriors and their families who find themselves in the same position we did. I feel an abseil is very fitting in respect of everything Noah has overcome as we will be braving a height of 120ft and conquering all our fears to make it to the bottom. Neither of us are very good with heights!!!
We feel this amazing cause is so close to many people’s hearts whether it be yourself, a family member or a friend who has gone through it. Any donations big or small are so greatly appreciated and we thank you for your support in our mission to give back & help support the fantastic team who are real life angels with hearts of gold. They really deserve it especially for how they treated Noah on his Neonatal journey and still do up to now. Thank you!!

Thank you!!
