Story
On June 20th, I'll be undertaking one of my toughest challenges yet. Despite being an amputee, I've never let fear stop me. I've played wheelchair rugby professionally for Northampton Saints, took part in bouldering and even abseiled.
This time, I'll be setting out to achieve the title of one of the fastest disabled people to hike Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and England at 1,085 metres, all whilst trying to raise some money for two great causes.
Teddies for Loving Care: An initiative that provides unique cuddly bears for medical staff to give young children in hospitals. The bears are used to calm children down, reward them for being brave or to demonstrate procedures.
Northampton Male Voice Choir in support of their Prostate Cancer charity fund.
Any amount you can spare is truly appreciated and will go a long way in supporting the amazing work these charities do.
Wish me luck and let me know how fast you think it'll take for me to complete my Snowdon challenge!
